How We Started

2018

WASTE-TO-IMPACT

We started as a community waste recycler, moving from one community to the others, sensitizing them on the need to recycle their waste. Following the adoption, aggregators are being appointed, one community at a time. This network birthed “Community Waste Recycling Scheme” Where bottom of pyramid women and youth are being empowered to aggregate waste and exchange it for incentives.
2020

R& D: WASTE-TO- BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

COVID-19 interrupted our activities. The aggregated / purchased waste materials are not being off-taken by our partners. COVID-19 turn out to scale us from waste-to-impact into waste-to-products social enterprise. This event fueled our Research and Development (R&D) and birthed “Waste-to- Building and Construction materials.

PRODUCTS: “ECOblock” and Pavers made from waste plastic and “ECOceiling tiles” made form waste paper and textile waste are eco-friendly, climate resilient, sustainable building & construction materials. Our ceiling tiles branded as “ECOceiling tiles” are low cost, non-asbestos ceiling used for both interior and exterior of a building. ECOblock and Pavers are climate resilient, resistant to moisture and exhibit appreciable mechanical strength compare to traditional clay blocks.
